WHAT ARE THERMAL TRANSFER PRINT PATCHES USED FOR?

With graphic design software and websites becoming more and more prevalent in the modern world, designs are getting more and more intricate.

We see a lot of different patch designs every single day and a growing trend in designs for sports clubs, workwear and school uniform is to have gradients and fine text present.

 Often, with a classic embroidered patch, is hard to achieve maximum detail in a design, should the text size be under 5mm high, or if there are gradients within the image. With direct embroidery, this is even harder.

That’s where our Thermal Transfer Print patches come in…

 Your design is printed directly over a 100% embroidered background. This means that you can get absolute reproduction of your logo/design and still maintain the feel and look of a traditional embroidered patch.

It doesn’t just stop there though. We can print QR codes onto these patches, giving a 100% recreation of the digital image. These are perfect for patches for clothes, should your organisation be exhibiting at a show. It can save you money on expensive leaflets and brochures by incorporating as QR code into your branded patch, meaning people can scan directly from this and obtain all the information they need.

We can also provide Thermal Transfer Print keyrings, with a QR code. These are great for promotional items to be given to customers, with them able to scan into your chosen website page again at any time.

With prices starting from £3.33 (ex VAT) per piece on 25pcs @ 75mm, they are an exciting option to compliment your designs.

BORDER OPTIONS: Hot Knife Border, Merrow Overlocked Border or Hybrid (A mixture of Hot Knife and Merrow)

 BACKING OPTIONS: Heat Applied, Non Backing, Velcro, Self-Adhesive Sticker, Magnetic, Paper

MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITY: 25 pieces

LEAD TIMES: 2-3 weeks

APPLICATION SETTINGS: Top Heat Press: 160-165 degrees for 12-15 seconds. Bottom Heat Press: 155-160 degrees for 10-12 seconds.

ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS: Ai, EPS, PDF, Hi-Res JPEG, Photo. Please note, the image supplied will be an absolute reproduction on the patch, please ensure there are no watermarks etc. present.

SET UP COSTS: Approx. £35 per design (+ VAT) which is refundable if the design is ordered within four weeks of proofing.
